We take great pride in providing individualized care for people with a variety of spinal disorders including scoliosis, hyperkyphosis, congenital (born-with) problems, as well as degenerative issues. The current guidelines of The SOSORT support combining conservative approaches such as condition specific exercises and bracing to get the best results.
Our Approach
We are dedicated to delivering the best scoliosis treatment options for children and adults through a commitment to best bracing practice and patient focused care while following the internationally recognized Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT) guidelines for conservative treatment. We also integrate scoliosis specific exercise programs using physio-therapeutic scoliosis-specific exercises (PSSE), which are compatible with the ScoliBrace.
Our Team
The team is led by Dr Kyle A. Grice. an experienced scoliosis clinician who has an expertise in scoliosis bracing and rehabilitation. He has been focused on the treatment of spinal deformities since 2003. The Grice 4 Health team are happy to answer any questions from patients and their families and make all feel welcome and well looked after.
ScoliBrace
ScoliBrace is a unique bracing method creating truly custom made 3D spinal braces for patients with scoliosis and kyphosis. Every brace is custom made for the individual by a dedicated design team and Computer Aided Design and Manufacture and then shipped to our Toronto, Ontario clinic.
Who can benefit from ScoliBrace?
Children with scoliosis
ScoliBrace can be used in the treatment of infantile and juvenile idiopathic scoliosis cases and may reduce curves, as well as improve body cosmetics
Adolescents with scoliosis
ScoliBrace can be used in the treatment of Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis (AIS) cases and may reduce curves, as well as improve cosmetics with reduced rib humping, more level shoulders, and more symmetrical waist.
Adult scoliosis
ScoliBrace can be used in the treatment of adult scoliosis cases and may slow or stop worsening of curves, reduce pain, improve cosmetics and body symmetry and promote better spine balance helping with fall prevention
Kyphosis Sufferers
KyphoBrace can be used in the treatment of kyphosis cases and may not only hold progression, but also reduce the kyphosis curve and improve the posture and cosmetic appearance of the patient
